1) REGISTRATION
- How can I register for this race?
You can register for the KL 10K RoadRace at https://www.MYRaceonline.com
- Is there a fee required for registration?
Yes. There are two pricing to the registration fees. Entry fees are as follows:
• RM50 (14.01.2013 - 14.02.2013)
• RM60 (15.02.2013 - 08.03.2013)
- What is the minimum age to join?
The minimum age to join is 16 years of age.
- What is included in the cost of the KL 10k RoadRace fee?
The registration fee for the KL 10k RoadRace includes:
• A place in the KL 10k RoadRace race
• An exclusive KL 10k RoadRace Tee
• Finisher's medal and E-certificate for those participants that finish the Race on Race Day.
- How do I know if I have been officially registered?
Upon successful registration, the registration confirmation slip will appear on the screen available for print. An email will also be sent to the email address that you provide with your registration confirmation slip.
- After I have successfully registered for the event, can I change my event category?
No.
- Should I choose not to participate after I've registered for the event, can I withdraw?
Yes. If you withdraw from the race please contact the Organizer at klroadrace@ymail.com to let us know you will not participate in the Race. Please note that pursuant to our withdrawal policy no refund will be given.

Any registrant who chooses not to participate take part in the event for any reason will not receive any refund.Race slots are strictly non-transferable.

3) PAYMENT MODES
- What are the payment modes for the registration fee?
Participants can choose to pay by Credit Card (VISA / Mastercard)and all electronic means of payment.
4) RACE PACK COLLECTION
- What is a Race Entitlement Pack?
The race pack is an exclusive event pack which consists of
• A KL 10k RoadRace Tee (material: dri- fit)
• A KL 10k RoadRace Race Pack
- When and where can I collect my Race Pack?
All race participants must collect their race packs during the KL 10k RoadRace Pack Collection.
Details of KL 10k RoadRace Pack Collection:
12th – 13th April 2013 (Friday - Saturday)
10.30am - 6pm
VENUE:
Level 2C
Wisma OCM Jalan Hang Jebat
50150 Kuala Lumpur.
Important: You must bring your IC and confirmation slip or confirmation slip to collect your Race Pack.
- Is it mandatory to pick up my Race Pack?
Yes.
- Can someone else pick up my Race Pack on my behalf?
Yes, you can have someone else pick up your Race Pack on your behalf. However, you’ll need to issue that person a letter of authorization and a copy of your IC. For those who are unable to personally collect their Race Pack. Your representative must present a complete and signed Letter of Authorization, a copy of your Confirmation Slip and a copy of your IC in order to pick up your Race Pack.
- Is it possible to collect my Race Pack on Race Day?
No.
- Can I have my Race Kit mailed /couriered to me?
No. Should you not be able to make it yourself, kindly authorize somebody else to pick up your Race Pack on your behalf.
5) THE PHYSICAL RACE
- Where should I line up for the start?
All runners should be at the start line behind the starting arch.
- Where can I leave my belongings?
Baggage deposit will be made available to all participants. Participants are advised to arrive earlier to deposit their bags to avoid delays. While maximum care and security will be enforced, the organizers will not be responsible for any loss or damaged items or delays in retrieving bags.
- Is it necessary to wear the Timing chip?
Yes.
- Do I need to return the ChampionChip on completing the Race?
No.
- What happens if I am injured along the Race route?
Paramedics can be found at the start and finish lines. You may also alert Route Marshals or patrolling Paramedics regarding your injury.
6) THE RACE ROUTE
More details about the race route will be released at a later date.
- Will there be a cut-off time for the race?
Yes. Participants will need to finish the race within two hours from the flag off time.
- What kind of finisher entitlement will I get after I complete the race?
The finisher entitlement will be released shortly. All finishers will receive an exclusive finishers’ medal and E - certificate upon completion of the race.
7) PARTICIPANTS
- What if the KL 10k RoadRace tee does not fit me? Can I still participate? Can I exchange for a different size?
All participants are advice to wear the KL 10k RoadRace tee during the event. Kindly note that requests for changes in sizes will not be entertained. Note that any kind of modification to the race tee will not be permitted.
- What drinks will be available for participants?
Participants can refresh themselves with Drink or Drinking Water at the Water Stations.
- Are walkers permitted to participate in the KL10K?
Yes. Should you wish to walk during the race, kindly keep to the left side of the route to allow faster competitors to pass.
- May I bring my pet dog with me for the Race?
No. Pets are strictly not allowed at the event site.
- Will bikes, or skates be allowed on the Race route?
No. Instruments with built-in wheels other than those on the official vehicles will not be allowed onto the race course.
- How many participants are expected at this year’s Race?
Approximately 3,500 runners are anticipated to participate at this year’s Race.
8) SUPPORTERS
- Are my family and friends able to come support me at the Race?
Yes, supporters are most welcome to cheer you on anywhere along the race route.
9) TRANSPORTATION
- How do I get to the Race Site?
There is various of transportation to get to the venue .

- Star LRT (Bandaraya Station)

- Own transport
- Will there be road closures?
Yes, there will be road closures.
- Will there be parking facilities at the start and or finish lines?
No. To make sure the event run smoothly there will be no parking available at the start/finish line.
